The HDS provides the aftermarket with same systems coverage and functionality available to the Subaru dealership technician.

Used in combination with a PC, this tool provides an interactive user interface that is simple to operate and offers a variety of customizable display functions. High-speed communication with the engine control system and transmission control system make diagnosis and reprogramming tasks faster and easier than ever before.

The HDS kit includes a proprietary, 16-pin diagnostic cable, Subaru Diagnostics Interface (SDI), CF Card, application software (includes 12-month subscription for software updates). The SDI and related hardware and software, provides the functionality required to troubleshoot all control systems on 1996 model-year and later Subaru vehicles.

SOFTWARE OPTIONS:

Subaru Diagnostic and Reprogramming Software for Subaru vehicles 1997 to current model year.

REPROGRAMMING CAPABILITIES:
Subaru has no reprogramming capability for model years 1996-1998. Starting with the 1999 model year, the Subaru HDS application software includes all Subaru proprietary reprogramming files, and includes the calibration identification number (CID).
