BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - SPARE PARTS (QLD)

 

Automotive Service Solutions is a market leader in the supply of original equipment quality Fuel Injection components and equipment to the automotive trade. With over 25 years in the industry, Automotive Service Solutions is undergoing an exciting period of growth in the automotive parts division of our business.


We currently require a self motivated, success driven person for the position of Business Development Manager. The successful applicant will report directly to the Parts Manager and will be responsible for building sales and product distribution within the automotive mechanical and auto electrical markets. The major focus will be developing the existing customer base as well as identifying new business opportunities and promoting the Automotive Service Solutions name in the repair sector. The success of this role is crucial to our expansion plans, and sales growth is the priority objective.

The position is based out of Brisbane Qld, but we expect it will involve local and interstate travel. We also expect that most of your time will be spent interacting with clients, and potential clients, at their premises, with a view to increasing the total client base and achieving sales growth.

 

The ideal candidate must possess the following:


  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • High self-motivation
  • The desire to work as part of a sales team environment
  • Ability to interact with, and respond to, industry personnel
  • Ability to develop genuine long-term client relationships
  • A comprehensive understanding of the automotive repair and service industry.


A salary package of 55k plus company car, phone and laptop awaits the successful candidate.
